Fr. Mirek Kostarzewski
Parish Pastor
Fr. Mirek was ordained in Poland on June 10, 2006 for the Diocese of Sidelce. In August 2012, Archbishop Smith invited Fr. Mirek to serve the Archdiocese of Edmonton in pastoral ministry.
He has served at: St. Joseph’s Basilica, Holy Trinity, Our Lady of the Foothills, Our Lady of Lourdes, Christ-King, Our Lady of Grace , and Immaculate Heart of Mary. In April 2019, he was assigned as Pastor of St. Mary's Parish of Red Deer, where he currently serves. He is also the Dean of the Red Deer Deanery, and serves as Secretary on the Executive of the Presbyteral Council (a group of priests chosen to assist the archbishop in an advisory capacity).
Deacon Roger has been a member of St. Mary's for over twenty years and has been serving as Deacon at St. Mary's since his ordination.

Andrew Sheedy is currently doing a 10-month internship at St. Mary's as part of his seminary formation. He grew up in St. Albert. Since the fall of 2017, he has been a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Edmonton.
Andrew is helping to lead RCIA and CIC this year, as well as doing school visits, shadowing Fr. Mirek for sacramental celebrations, and engaging with different groups in the parish in preparation for the priesthood.

Greer McIvor has been a member of St. Mary's since 1999. And has been working as Pastoral Assistant since September of 2023.
